The Solution: For all custom shopping bags, we implement a standard 300gsm-400gsm cardboard reinforcement inside the top fold where the handles are attached. For maximum security with heavy loads, we highly recommend adding metal grommets around the handle holes to distribute the weight evenly and prevent the paper from tearing.
